The standard Hanson specification includes 40 mm insulated walls and a 40 mm insulated composite roof. With suitable doors, windows and heating, the building can provide a comfortable year-round space.

Will insulation stop condensation?

It massively reduces it. We also design in ventilation so moist air can escape — key for garages and workshops.

Do I need planning permission?

Many domestic outbuildings are permitted development, but size, position and use matter. We’ll advise and, where needed, can support an application.

What base do I need?

A level, reinforced concrete slab of the correct size and thickness. We can survey and install the base for you.

How long does installation take?

Smaller buildings are often completed within a few days once the base has cured; larger/custom builds take longer. We’ll give you a schedule at order.

What about warranties?

You get a 10‑year structural guarantee, plus manufacturer warranties on cladding, doors and windows.
